Dr. Miyata was born in Tainan, Taiwan, and raised in Ibaraki prefecture, Japan. He earned a Medical Degree from Taipei Medical University, Taiwan in 2003. Dr. Miyata completed his internal medicine residency at the Keio University 2007 and complete Gastroenterology fellowship in 2011.
Then he worked at Saiseikai Utsunomiya hospital as Gastroenterology staff until 2013. Dr.Miyata completed postdoctoral fellowship at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
Departments of Internal Medicine division of Digestive and Liver Diseases in 2016.
Dr.Miyata became a senior lecturer of Digestive Disease Center, International University of Health and Welfare( IUHW) in 2016. After he finished his private practice at Nagamine orthopedic surgery, Gastroenterology Clinic in Feb 2020. He started brand new Miyata Gastroenterology & Dermatology Clinic in April 2020.
Dr. Miyata is board-certified by the Japan Board of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterologist Endoscopist. He also completed Palliative Care Training for Physicians related in Cancer Treatment.
Dr. Miyata hobbies include Movie film and world travel.
